State-approved six-hour course required by Texas for adults ages 18–24. Choose our online class or in-person class to complete your Adult Driver Education requirement and prepare for your Texas learner permit.
• Application for the issuance of a driver license
• U.S. Citizenship, or if you are not a U.S. Citizen, evidence of lawful presence
• Proof of Texas Residency
• Proof of Identity
• Social Security Number
• Texas Driver Education Certificate (ADE-1317)
• Evidence of successfully passing the driver knowledge exam
– If you did not take the written test during your driver education course, you will take it at the driver license office
• Possess a valid ADE-1317 showing completion of a Driver Education Course
• Have a valid restricted driver license
• Complete the ITD requirements by viewing the Impact Texas Adult Drivers (ITAD) video
– The certificate of completion must be dated within 90 days before your drive test
• After completing your road test, A2Z Driving School Dallas will issue a sealed envelope with documentation to take to DPS to obtain your driver license

Before taking your road test with A2Z or the DPS, all drivers under 18 — and any driver who completed a Teen Driver Education program — must watch the Impact Texas Teen Drivers (ITTD) video.

✓ Must be completed within 90 days of your road test
✓ Certificate must be presented before the test can be administered
✓ Teens 15–17 who completed a Teen Driver Ed course
✓ Drivers 18–24 who completed a Teen Driver Education course or Parent Taught program
✓ Anyone who completed a Teen program (even if now over 18)
