Adult Permit Test
DOCUMENT REQUIREMENTS
- Application for the issuance of a driver license
- U.S. Citizenship or, if you are not a U.S. Citizen, evidence of lawful presence
- Texas Residency
- Proof of Identity
- Social Security Number
- Texas Driver Education Certificate (ADE-1317)
- Evidence of successfully passing the driver knowledge exam. (If you have not taken this test during the classroom portion of driver education, you will take it at the driver license office
Impact Texas Adult Drivers (ITAD)
18-24 years of age:
- Possess a valid ADE-1317 showing completion of a Driver Education Course
- Have a valid restricted driver license
- Complete the ITD requirements by viewing the Impact Texas Adult Drivers (ITAD) video at the bottom of this page. The certificate of completion must be dated within 90 days prior to taking the drive test.
- After completing of your Road Test A2Z Driving School Dallas will issue you a Sealed Envelop with Documetation to collect you Driver License from DPS
